The hotel offers clean and quite big rooms, with a nice in-house pub and a smallish breakfast venue. The staff showed mixed attitudes, with some being amazingly friendly and helpful, while others seemed reluctant to accommodate requests. The location is excellent, practically downtown, with good and friendly staff serving. The dining experience left a bit to be desired but offered good value for the money. Overall, the hotel scores highly in terms of location and service.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were wonderful but getting switched without prior notice wasted 3 hours of my vacation. The housekeeping could improve in terms of notifying about room changes and ensuring room supplies match the charged amount.
The hotel had its ups and downs. While the rooms were comfortable despite some cleanliness issues and lack of proper lighting, the staff was notably friendly and helpful. The location was convenient but noisy at times. The dining experience was average, and the facilities were satisfactory for the price paid.
The hotel had a bit of a hiccup with room cleanliness, but thankfully, they are renovating those areas. The kitchenette and TV setup were nice, though. The staff managed to deliver my phone promptly to Parksville, and they were incredibly friendly and helpful during our family reunion. Dry cleaning and housekeeping services were top-notch. The location on Douglas was a bit bustling and noisy, making it less enjoyable for walks. However, being close to the Midtown Plaza Shopping Centre was convenient.
